In this module, we were introduced to the 3D modeling package milkshape 3D. We were given the opportunity to create a 3D model in order to give us an understanding of the art side of games development.
For my model, I chose to re-create the "Black on black" Interceptor from the Mad Max films, due to it's unique look and aggressive personality.
The final model was 5106 triangles, about average at the time for a "hero" car.
I did attempt to create a texture for this model, however milkshape makes UV mapping a nightmare.
That massive airscoop is the defining feature of the interceptor.
The wheels and doors are seperate from the main model to allow easier animation.
I also created and textured a simple pistol model for another project.
